Edgar has been exploring colour since he was 2 years old.
It began as simple moments at home — paper on the floor, brushes, rollers, and too many colours mixed together. Very quickly, Edgar developed his own way of painting: instinctive, calm, and surprisingly intentional. Supported by his parents, he paints in total freedom, without trying to imitate or explain. His work naturally finds its place within contemporary art while keeping the honesty of a child’s pure gesture.

From play,
to contemporary art

Every painting begins with curiosity: a glimpse of the sea in Brittany, a quiet afternoon at home, a story heard and transformed into colour. Edgar works on the ground or at a table, often in silence, always deeply focused. These moments become canvases, postcards and drawings meant to live on the walls of homes, studios and private collections.
Early drawings
Symbolic works created in his early childhood: the baby in the belly, the falling tear, and intuitive figures.
Simple lines, strong ideas and a natural sense of synthesis.
Postcards & fragments
Small formats painted like horizons or flashes of light.
Some include words written directly on the surface, turning each card into a small object-poem to collect or gift.
Contemporary canvases
Larger works where colour becomes a landscape.
Layers of greens, blues and deeper tones create atmospheric pieces that bring a strong, quiet presence to any space.
